Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These terms cover your use of BinderPrince at binderprince.com and its apps ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What BinderPrince is
BinderPrince lets you catalogue physical trading cards, mark some of them as available for trade, and present that list to another person — usually by showing a QR code they scan with their phone. They can send you a trade request through the service.
A trade request is a message, nothing more. It is not a contract, an offer with legal effect, or a reservation of any card.
2. Trades happen between you and the other person
BinderPrince is not a party to your trades. We do not take custody of cards, verify that anyone owns what they list, inspect condition or authenticity, process payment for cards, or mediate disputes. When you agree to a trade, you are dealing directly with that person and you accept the risk of doing so.
Marking cards as moved between accounts inside the app is a bookkeeping convenience that records what you tell us happened. It does not transfer ownership of anything, and it is not evidence that a trade took place.
Meet somewhere public. Inspect what you're getting. Use your own judgement about the person across the table.
3. Your account
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, use the service only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time from the account screen in the app.
4. Your content
Your cards, photos, notes and binder settings remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, display it back to you, show what you have marked for trade to people you share a binder with, and process card photos for identification and pricing (see the Privacy Policy).
Only upload photos you took or otherwise have the right to use. Don't upload anything unlawful, or anything that isn't a trading card you're cataloguing.
5. Card identification and prices are estimates
Card recognition is automated and gets things wrong. Always confirm a match before you rely on it — the service asks you to confirm precisely because it cannot be certain.
Prices come from third-party catalogues, including PriceCharting and SportsCardsPro. They are historical estimates of what similar cards have sold for. They are not appraisals, not offers, and not a promise of what anything is worth. Condition, authenticity and grading are not assessed. Do not treat any number in this app as a valuation for insurance, sale or investment.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- The free plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, which handles payment details — we never see your card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled.
- Cancel any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments already made are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong, write to us — we would rather sort it out.
- We may change prices or what a plan includes. We'll give notice before a change affects your renewal, and you can cancel if you don't want to continue.
- Plan limits — binders, cards, scans per month — are enforced by the service and may be adjusted to keep it running sustainably.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use the service to defraud anyone, or to list cards you don't have.
- Try to access another person's binder or account, or brute-force a share passphrase.
- Scrape the service, or resell its data or price information.
- Automate the scanner beyond ordinary personal use, or work around plan limits.
- Upload malware, or attack or overload the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.
8. Sharing a binder
When you present a QR code or share link, you are choosing to show that binder to whoever holds it. A passphrase adds friction, not security guarantees. Share deliberately, and turn a share off when you're done with it.
9. Third-party content
Card names, images, logos and set names belong to their respective publishers — among them Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company, Konami, Bandai and Disney. BinderPrince is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Card images are shown for identification, and remain the property of their owners.
10. Availability
The service is provided as-is. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. We'll try to give reasonable notice of anything significant. Keep your own records of anything you'd hate to lose.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BinderPrince is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost or damaged cards, for the conduct of anyone you trade with, or for decisions made on the basis of a price estimate or an automated card identification. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll flag material changes in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
